Havsdalen is reachable only by snowmobile during wintertime, which makes this quiet luxury retreat exeptionally child friendly. The lodge has ski out (500m slow downhill) and ski in (via Fjellheisen) for alpine skiing (small children could use scooter transport available 24/7). Just outside the cabin there is miles and miles of daily prepared cross country slopes.
In summer time you can park your car at the lodge.
Geilo Lodge is privately owned and will for some weeks during the year be availiable for hire on request.

Geilo has a variety of events both summer-, spring-, autumn- and wintertime.
During winter Geilo is one of Norway's best alpine ski destinations.
During summer golf, hiking, bicycling, hunting and fishing is the main activities.
During summer the whole family can have fun with different activites like high rope course, downhill and more in Geilo Summerpark.
